War from the air: the town of Dover, on england’s south coast, experiences the first ever air attack on the british mainland – from a single german aeroplane.


Later, the Royal Naval Air Service ~flying a french Farman MF-II ~ perform the first ever night-time bombing mission, attacking a german artillery installation.
